Appeals to Aid Flood Victims in Aden and Lahij

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Yemen has appealed to international organizations, civil society organizations, businessmen, and charities to help the affected families in the governorates of Aden and Lahij.
This came during a meeting held by the ministry on Sunday, where it called for the provision of urgent humanitarian aid.
The ministry emphasized the need to shelter the affected people who lost their homes and properties due to the floods and to provide them with support.
The city of Aden had witnessed heavy rains that led to flash floods, which caused the destruction of citizens’ homes and properties and resulted in damage to infrastructure.
