Violent Houthi Shelling Targets Residential Neighborhoods in Taiz

Residential neighborhoods north of Taiz city (southwestern Yemen) came under violent artillery shelling by the Houthis on Tuesday.
Local sources said the shelling targeted citizens’ homes in the village quarter of the Osifrah area, north of Taiz city, with several mortar rounds, causing significant damage.
The sources stated that Houthi forces stationed in Al-Tebab, located north of the city and overlooking residential neighborhoods, carried out the shelling on the homes.
The group has imposed a siege on the city of Taiz for ten years, and citizens face difficulties in securing basic necessities.
