Yemen National Team Moves Preparations to Doha Before Decisive Match Against Lebanon in Asian Cup Qualifiers

The Yemeni national football team will head to the Qatari capital, Doha, on May 25th to enter a closed external training camp lasting ten days, as part of the final phase of preparations for the decisive match against Lebanon, scheduled for June 4th, in the qualifiers for the Asian Cup finals.

Yemen team manager Abdulrahman Al-Ansi stated that the technical and administrative staff are continuing to finalize travel arrangements for the delegation according to the approved preparation program. He explained that the camp aims to raise the technical and physical readiness of the players, as well as to adapt to the climatic conditions in Qatar ahead of the crucial match.

During the camp, Algerian coach Noureddine Wald Ali is expected to oversee intensive training sessions, focusing on the tactical and strategic aspects that the team will employ in the match against Lebanon, while working to enhance harmony among the team’s lines in the short time remaining.

The upcoming match is drawing significant interest from Yemeni fans, who are counting on the Doha camp to prepare the team in optimal fashion to boost its chances of securing a qualification spot for the Asian Cup.
