Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The Houthi group announced on Thursday evening that the number of casualties from Israeli bombing in the capital, Sanaa, and the Al-Jawf Governorate has risen to 211 dead and wounded.
The group’s Ministry of Health in Sanaa stated in a release that the “Zionist aggression” on Sanaa and Al-Jawf “caused the death of 46 citizens, including five children and 11 women, while injuring 165 others, including 31 children and 29 women.”
The ministry noted that the number of victims in Sanaa reached 38 dead and 147 wounded, while the number of casualties in the Al-Hazm district of Al-Jawf Governorate was eight dead and 18 wounded.
According to the statement, civil defense teams continue to work on removing rubble and searching for victims in the neighborhoods and buildings targeted by “Israel.”
Last Wednesday, the Israeli occupation launched several raids on Sanaa and Al-Jawf Governorate, targeting the headquarters of the September 26th newspaper (the Moral Guidance department) belonging to the Ministry of Defense in Sanaa, Al-Yemen newspaper in Al-Tahrir neighborhood, and the Civil Status building and Central Bank branch in Al-Hazm city in Al-Jawf Governorate, according to the Houthis.
On Thursday, Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said that his group’s forces had launched 38 missiles and drones at Israeli targets in two weeks, downplaying the effects of Tel Aviv’s raids on civilian and Houthi-affiliated sites in different parts of the country.
