On Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shayea Al-Zindani, met with the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber. The two officials discussed the latest national developments and the progress of Saudi support for Yemen.
The talks focused on the Yemeni government’s priorities for economic and financial reforms aimed at improving living standards and basic services. They also reviewed the development and humanitarian projects that the Saudi program is implementing across various governorates.
Minister Al-Zindani expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continuous support, affirming that the development and humanitarian initiatives reflect the strong relationship between the two countries. He also commended the Kingdom’s support for peace and stability efforts, as well as its backing of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government.
For his part, Ambassador Al Jaber reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to supporting Yemen at both the political and developmental levels. He noted that the Saudi program will continue to implement its service and development projects to help improve the lives of citizens and reiterated his country’s dedication to achieving a peace that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
