Wadi Hadhramaut Electricity Suffers Temporary Outage Due to Bad Weather

Wadi Hadhramaut experienced a power outage in recent hours as a result of strong winds and heavy rainfall affecting the area.
The bad weather caused a disconnection of the transmission line 133kv.
In a brief statement, Wadi Hadhramaut Electricity reported that preliminary inspections showed six power poles were completely damaged. As a result, the electricity system is facing a temporary shortage in supply.
An official explained that maintenance teams will begin repairing the damage on Wednesday morning.
He also issued a warning to subscribers, stressing that the outage was caused by emergency weather conditions beyond the company’s control.
The statement added: “We are working hard to restore service as soon as possible, and we appreciate citizens’ patience during this period.”
The company confirmed that it is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the stability of the power network in the region, especially amid the ongoing unstable weather conditions.
