Israeli Army Announces Interception of Ballistic Missile Launched from Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

The Israeli occupation army announced that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen toward Israel, triggering air raid sirens in several areas across the country.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, departures and landings at Ben Gurion International Airport were temporarily halted following the missile launch from Yemen.

The Houthis have carried out dozens of missile attacks against Israel, which in turn has launched numerous airstrikes on sites in Hudaidah and Sanaa.

The group has also targeted vessels linked to Israel in the Red Sea, declaring what it described as an aerial blockade on Ben Gurion Airport and a naval blockade on the ports of Eilat and Haifa.
