Houthis Announce Targeting of Ben Gurion Airport; Israel Says Missile Intercepted

Yemen Monitor – Newsroom:
The armed Houthi group announced on Thursday that it had targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv with a ballistic missile, describing the operation as a “double strike.”
The group’s military spokesperson stated that the operation also included drone attacks on targets in the cities of Jaffa and Haifa, in what he described as a “response to the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.”
In response, air raid sirens were sounded in several Israeli areas, including Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the Dead Sea, after a missile launched from Yemen was detected, according to the Israeli military’s Home Front Command, which later confirmed the successful interception of the missile.
The Israeli military announced it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, while Israel’s Channel 12 reported that several flights bound for Ben Gurion Airport were forced to return after news of the attack emerged.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Army Radio stated: “Since the resumption of fighting in the Gaza Strip last March, 37 missiles have been launched from Yemen toward Israel.”
