The UAE’s WAM news agency reported on Thursday that the President and Vice Presidents of the UAE sent congratulatory messages to the President of Yemen on the occasion of the country’s National Unity Day.
According to the report, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Rashad Mohamed Al-Alimi, Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, on the occasion of Yemen’s National Day.
The agency added that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court, also sent similar congratulatory cables to the Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, expressing the deep fraternal ties between the two countries.
It also noted that Their Highnesses sent congratulatory cables to His Excellency Salem Saleh Salem bin Buraik, Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen, as part of efforts to strengthen communication and cooperation between the UAE and Yemen.
