Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Supreme Security Committee in Yemen stressed the importance of raising the level of coordination and operational linking between the military and security institutions.
During its meeting chaired by Minister of Defense Taher Al-Aqili in Aden, the Committee discussed the procedural steps to activate a joint security and military operations room to ensure the unification of field efforts among various sectors, and to enhance the efficiency of rapid response to face current security challenges and strike down disruptions.
Yemeni Supreme Security Committee stood before the repercussions of an Iranian Revolutionary Guard plane landing at Sana’a Airport, which is under the control of the Houthi group. It considered this action a blatant violation of Yemeni sovereignty and an extension of the continuous Iranian support for the group.
The meeting emphasized raising the level of vigilance and combat readiness in various military and security units to deal with any developments, noting the complete readiness of the armed forces to firmly confront any hostile activities or movements by the Houthi group.
