The Yemeni government on Friday condemned the bombing that targeted a café near the Palace of Justice in the Syrian capital, Damascus, which left several people dead and injured, reaffirming its rejection of all forms of terrorism.
In a statement, Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that Yemen renews its firm stance against terrorism “in all its forms and manifestations” and expresses its solidarity with Syria in confronting threats to its security and stability.
The ministry also extended its condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
A bomb exploded at a café near the Palace of Justice in Damascus, killing nine people and injuring 22 others, in what was the deadliest attack in the country in over a year.
The attack comes at a time when the Syrian state is facing the challenge of rebuilding its security institutions and reasserting state authority after years of institutional collapse.
