During His Meeting with Defense Leadership… Presidential Council Member Abdullah Al-Alimi Affirms that the Battle with the Houthis is Fateful and Requires Unity of Military Decision

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, met today with the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ahmed Al-Basr Salem Saeed, and a number of heads of military bodies and leadership in the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting discussed the level of readiness and the progress of work in a number of military bodies and departments, as well as efforts to enhance coordination and integration between military units and formations.
Al-Alimi listened to a briefing on the overall field situation, levels of readiness and discipline, training and qualification efforts, and logistical support, in addition to mechanisms for enhancing operational coordination among various military units and formations.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi expressed his high appreciation for the sacrifices of the heroes of the armed forces and all military formations across various fronts in confronting the Houthis, who are backed by the Iranian regime.
The Presidential Leadership Council member emphasized that the current stage requires the highest levels of readiness, discipline, unity of ranks, and the unification of military decision-making, as well as raising the level of coordination and integration among various forces. He stressed that the battle against the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia and terrorist organizations is a fateful battle that requires high vigilance and working with a responsible national spirit.
Dr. Al-Alimi stressed that the military institution must remain a model of discipline, unity of ranks, and containment, far removed from any political, regional, or social calculations.
Dr. Al-Alimi praised the great fraternal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting our country and its leadership, backing the armed forces, enhancing their capabilities, and contributing to building a professional national military institution capable of performing its duties with efficiency and responsibility.
In this context, the Presidential Leadership Council member pointed out the importance of the role played by the Joint Forces, led by Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, Commander of the Joint Forces, in supporting efforts to organize and coordinate military work, raising the level of readiness, and enhancing the effectiveness of the forces in a way that serves security and stability efforts and confronts challenges.
For his part, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ahmed Al-Basr Salem Saeed, affirmed that the armed forces will remain at the highest levels of readiness and discipline, committed to their national duties in defending the homeland and confronting the terrorist Houthi militia and terrorist organizations.
He noted that the bodies and departments of the Ministry of Defense are working in the spirit of a single team to enhance operational coordination, raise the efficiency of training and qualification, and develop aspects of support and combat readiness.
Major General Al-Basr, on behalf of the military leaders present, expressed his appreciation for the attention of the Presidential Leadership Council and Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi’s follow-up on the conditions and needs of the armed forces, stressing that the military institution will remain a model of discipline and unity of ranks, and will continue to perform its tasks with full responsibility and competence.
