Al-Mahrah Governorate, in eastern Yemen, witnessed a massive public demonstration on Tuesday, during which participants expressed their solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and denounced Iranian and Israeli attacks in the region.

The demonstration took place in the city of Al-Ghaydah, the governorate’s capital, with broad participation from sheikhs, notables, political leaders, and social figures, alongside representatives of civil society organizations, women’s groups, and youth sectors.

Protesters raised the flags of Yemen and Saudi Arabia, as well as solidarity banners affirming their support for the Gulf states and their rejection of Iranian attacks targeting vital and civilian facilities. They also condemned Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people and several Arab countries.

In speeches delivered during the demonstration, participants stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security is an integral part of Yemen’s security, reiterating their rejection of any foreign interference that infringes upon the sovereignty of Arab nations or threatens their stability.

The event also included poetry recitals and speeches praising the brotherly relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, calling for the strengthening of Arab unity in the face of current challenges.

Speakers called for neutralizing Yemen from regional conflicts, working toward establishing security and stability, and prioritizing the interests of the Yemeni people, while praising Saudi Arabia’s supportive positions toward Yemen and Al-Mahrah Governorate.

At the conclusion of the demonstration, a statement was issued confirming the solidarity of the people of Al-Mahrah with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, based on the bonds of brotherhood and a common destiny.

The statement condemned Iranian and Israeli attacks, emphasizing a rejection of using Yemeni territory to harm neighboring countries and calling for reinforced unity to face challenges.
