The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the start of transferring allowances for students studying abroad to cover tuition fees for the 2024–2025 academic year.
In a press statement today, Dr. Mazen Al-Jifri, the Ministry’s Deputy Minister for Scholarship Affairs, explained that transfers have been initiated from the Central Bank of Yemen in the temporary capital, Aden, to all accredited Yemeni cultural attachés and embassies abroad. This will enable students to receive their allowances in the coming days.
Al-Jifri noted that the Scholarship Affairs Sector has completed the preparation of the third and fourth quarters of 2024 to shorten the time between the due date of the allowances and their disbursement. This effort aims to streamline procedures and provide financial support to students more quickly.
