Yemeni Political Parties Coalition: A Just Solution to the Southern Issue Is Essential for Building a Comprehensive Federal Yemen

The National Coalition of Yemeni Political Parties and Components affirmed in a statement today the importance of the role played by the legitimate leadership, represented by the Presidential Leadership Council, in prioritizing the suffering of citizens.
In the statement issued on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Yemeni Unity Day, which falls on May 22, the coalition emphasized that a just political solution to the Southern issue is a strategic necessity for building a new federal Yemen that accommodates all its citizens.
The coalition expressed its appreciation for the severity of the humanitarian and economic challenges endured by the people, including the collapse of basic services, deteriorating living conditions, and the absence of minimum standards for a dignified life.
It called on the government and relevant authorities to respond urgently and seriously to meet pressing humanitarian needs, activate economic reforms, enhance transparency, and combat corruption.
The National Coalition reaffirmed its commitment to working jointly with the political leadership, the government, and all state institutions to overcome the challenges of this phase.
It also reiterated its support for the Palestinian people’s right to return to their homeland and establish their independent state, while condemning the brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The statement concluded by affirming loyalty to the sacrifices of the heroes in the armed forces, security, and the national resistance, pledging to continue the struggle until victory is achieved, the coup is defeated, and the Yemeni state is restored.
