Netanyahu Vows “Strong” Response Against Houthis
Yemen Monitor / Occupied Jerusalem / Exclusive:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Monday to deliver a “strong response” to the Houthis in Yemen, who have repeatedly launched missiles at Israel since the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza.
In remarks directed at “the Houthis and anyone who wishes us harm,” Netanyahu said during a speech in central Israel: “Any attack on us will not go unanswered. There will be a strong response.”
The Houthis have claimed responsibility for launching ballistic missile attacks on Israeli-occupied territories. Last year, the Israeli military carried out airstrikes on vital civilian infrastructure in western Yemen.
