White House: Iran Receives Strong Blow as a Result of Operations Against Houthis

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

The White House announced the execution of airstrikes targeting more than 200 Houthi sites in Yemen since mid-March.

It clarified that these strikes resulted in the elimination of a number of Houthi leaders and the destruction of their military capabilities, noting that Iran has received a strong blow due to these operations.

The White House affirmed that the strikes will continue until freedom of navigation in the region is restored, emphasizing that the operations against the Houthis have not stopped so far.

In a related context, US President Donald Trump warned the Houthis and Iranians that “the worst is yet to come” if they do not stop attacking ships.

Trump wrote on the “X” platform that the choice for the Houthis is clear, as they must stop firing at US ships in exchange for stopping the attacks against them. He added that if this is not done, then “the real pain has not yet come.”

Trump had announced on March 15th of this year his order to the US military to launch a “major offensive” against the Houthis, threatening to completely eliminate them.
