Houthi-affiliated media outlets reported on Monday that the United States has intensified its airstrikes on areas under their control on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
The reports said that airstrikes targeted the western province of Hodeidah, and more than five airstrikes targeted the northern province of Saada, the group’s stronghold on the Saudi border.
Reuters news agency reported that the United States carried out 17 airstrikes on Houthi areas in a single day.
