The Yemeni Meteorological Center expects rainfall in parts of Hadhramaut, Mahra, and Socotra Archipelago

The National Center for Meteorological Services predicts that rain showers will continue in several governorates.

According to the weather forecast, scattered rain showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms on governorates such as Sada’a, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhala’, and Beihan.

Additionally, thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to hit parts of the coastal regions of Hadhramaut and Mahra governorates as well as Socotra Archipelago.

The forecast also warns of a hot weather over the coastal plains and deserts, with maximum temperatures ranging from 35 to 42 degrees Celsius.

Citizens are advised to exercise caution when approaching streams and valleys during heavy rainfall, as well as to avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

Drivers are warned to reduce their speed on mountainous roads due to reduced visibility caused by rain and fog, and to avoid crossing bridges during heavy rainfall.

Residents in desert and coastal areas are cautioned against extreme heat conditions and advised to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
