WFP: Conflicts in Yemen and other Arab countries ignite the fuse of hunger

The World Food Program (WFP) warned on Sunday that conflicts in Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and Gaza are igniting the fuse of hunger.

This came in a post by the WFP, a part of UN agency, on its account on X platform.

The program added that “conflict is one of the main reasons that push many people to the brink of hunger.”

It stressed that “the conflicts in Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and Gaza are igniting the fuse of hunger.”

The UN program pointed out that “peace and food security are related to each other, and each depends on the other.”

They added, “Where there is conflict, there is hunger and the opposit is true.
