Turkey: Houthi Attack on Saudi Arabia Threatens Regional Security and Stability

Turkey on Wednesday condemned the missile attack launched by the Houthis targeting the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its solidarity with Riyadh in the face of what it described as a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement dated July 14, 2026, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it “strongly condemns” the missile attack, reiterating its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ministry added that the attack constitutes “a serious threat to security and stability in the region,” stressing the need to avoid any steps that could further escalate regional tensions.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also reaffirmed its call for restraint and continued efforts to preserve the security and stability of the region amid the growing security risks it is facing.
