Governor of Al-Mahrah Calls for Enhancing Security and Military Coordination During Security Committee Meeting

The Governor of Al-Mahrah Governorate, Mohammed Ali Yasser, chaired a meeting of the Security Committee on Tuesday to review the security and military situation in the governorate, in light of what he described as challenges and exceptional circumstances, with the participation of leadership from local authorities, military, and security units.
According to what was discussed in the meeting, the committee evaluated security and military performance, reviewed the latest security developments in the governorate, and discussed the measures taken to enhance security and protect vital facilities and border crossings.
The Governor stated that the military and security apparatus achieved a number of security results, including the arrest of a wanted individual by the security forces of the Hadramawt Coast, praising what he described as the efforts of the personnel of those units despite limited resources.
Yasser called for raising the level of coordination and cooperation between military units and security agencies to ensure rapid response to incidents, improve field performance, and address shortcomings that were identified during the past period.
For their part, the commanders of the military and security units provided briefings on the field conditions in the governorate’s districts, and the approved security plans to secure the governorate, its borders, and vital installations, emphasizing the readiness of their forces to execute the tasks assigned to them.
