Al-Khanbashi Sponsors Signing of Agreement to Support and Employ Cardiac Surgery Doctors in Hadramawt

Hadramawt Foundation – Human Development signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday with the Charitable Society for Cardiopathy Care to support and employ graduates of the Egyptian Fellowship Program in the specialty of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, under the sponsorship of Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt.

The signing ceremony took place in the city of Al-Mukalla. The agreement aims to support and employ consultant doctors who were scholars of the Hadramawt Foundation – Human Development to work in the first phase at the “Nabd Al-Hayat” (Life Pulse) Center.

Al-Khanbashi praised the role of the Hadramawt Foundation – Human Development in investing in national cadres by supporting and qualifying competencies in various fields, contributing to employing their expertise to serve the community. At the same time, he appreciated the efforts of the Charitable Society for Cardiopathy Care in providing specialized medical care to heart patients.

According to the agreement, the project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase includes supporting the employment of four cardiovascular surgery specialists who are graduates of the scholarship program funded by the Hadramawt Foundation – Human Development for a period of one year. The second phase includes rehabilitating and developing the cardiac surgery operating room at the Heart Center, alongside training and qualifying medical and technical cadres in specialties related to cardiac surgery.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Hadramawt Foundation – Human Development by its Executive Director, Tariq Balkhasher, and on behalf of the Charitable Society for Cardiopathy Care by the head of the foundation, Mohammad Bashaib, in the presence of several officials and stakeholders in the health sector.
