The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has disbursed a new installment of financial support to help cover the Yemeni government’s budget deficit, amounting to more than 224 million Saudi riyals.
The assistance was provided under directives from the Saudi leadership and with the supervision of Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.
Ambassador Mohammed Al Jaber stated that the funding is intended to help cover the salaries of state employees, thereby improving the regularity of government financial flows and supporting the Yemeni government’s fiscal stability.
