Joint security forces in the districts of Al-Madhariba and Ras Al-Arah, in Lahj Governorate, successfully seized a large quantity of narcotic pills today, Tuesday, that were being transported on a cargo truck.
A source in the security campaign reported that a large quantity of Pregabalin pills (300 mg) was found on a Dyna-type truck seized in the Al-Hajf area of the coastal district of Ras Al-Arah.
The source explained that the confiscated amount totaled 144 cartons, each containing 50 packs, with 150 pills per pack — bringing the total to 1,080,000 (one million and eighty thousand) narcotic pills. The shipment was reportedly intended for illegal distribution, marking one of the largest drug seizures in the region in recent times.
