Governor of Hadramout, Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madhi, held a meeting on Saturday morning in Mukalla with Wärtsilä representative Patrick Lyond. The meeting focused on the maintenance requirements for the diesel-powered electricity stations to enhance their continuous operation and improve efficiency, ensuring stable power service.
During the meeting, the governor affirmed that the electricity sector is a top priority in the local authority’s plans, as part of a strategic effort to address the chronic challenges facing this vital sector. He emphasized the authority’s commitment to overcoming various technical and administrative difficulties to boost the stations’ efficiency and provide stable service to citizens.
The two sides also discussed the main technical needs of the stations, as well as mechanisms for inspection, maintenance, and urgent solutions for emergency issues. This is to guarantee continued operation and alleviate the suffering of residents caused by power outages.
