Solidarity Stand in Aden Condemns Israeli Massacres in Gaza

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

Dozens of women and children organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian Gaza Strip in Al-Urudh Square in the interim capital Aden, on Friday.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags, while women displayed symbolic images of children wrapped in burial shrouds to reflect the horrific crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against Gaza’s children.

They also carried banners condemning global silence in the face of grave violations in the Strip.

Activist Mervat Al-Rubaie posted on her Facebook page, writing:

“Our voices, though distant, are the echo of the cries of children, women, and the elderly — and a message of loyalty to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people against the machinery of war.”

She attached photos of the demonstration with the hashtags #Gaza_Today and #Aden_AlUrudh_Square.

This solidarity stand came at a time when Aden is witnessing repressive practices by UAE-backed armed militias targeting any popular protests in support of Gaza.
