Taiz Pharmaceutical Companies Begin Adjusting Prices According to Official Lists

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

The Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate for Health Affairs, Dr. Ilan Abdulhaq, confirmed that pharmaceutical and medical supply companies have begun adjusting their prices according to the official lists issued by major wholesalers. She noted that these companies have been given a grace period of no more than two days to complete the procedures.

Abdulhaq stressed that after the deadline, pharmacies will have no excuse to continue selling at old prices. She explained that any non-compliant pharmacy will face closure and license revocation in accordance with legal procedures.

She called on all pharmacies in the governorate to adhere to the new unified pricing approved by the Supreme Board of Drugs and to ensure that official invoices are issued to citizens. This, she said, will protect consumers and ensure the stability of the pharmaceutical market.
