Al-Alimi Receives the Annual Report of the Committee Investigating Human Rights Violations

The Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, received the 13th annual report of the National Committee for Investigating Allegations of Human Rights Violations from the committee’s chairman, Judge Ahmed Saeed Al-Moflehi, today, Wednesday.
Al-Alimi praised the committee’s efforts, confirming the council’s and government’s commitment to supporting its work and recommendations to strengthen human rights, security, and judicial institutions and ensure the enforcement of the law.
The report documented more than 3,003 cases of violations during the period from August 2024 to July 2025, which resulted in 3,766 victims of both genders, in addition to documenting the violations since the committee’s establishment in 2016, which reached 32,953 incidents.
The President stressed the importance of facilitating the committee’s work and dealing seriously with what is contained in its reports, as it is the nationally and internationally recognized national mechanism for documenting and investigating violations.
