Houthis Announce Israeli Airstrike Casualties Rise to 35 Dead, 131 Wounded

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
On Wednesday, the Houthi group announced that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Sana’a and al-Jawf governorate has risen to 35 killed and 131 injured, up from an initial count of nine killed and 118 wounded.
The Ministry of Health in the internationally unrecognized Houthi government stated that the strikes also caused extensive damage to civilian homes and vital facilities, including the Central Bank and the government complex in al-Jawf, according to the Al Masirah channel.
The group’s military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, claimed that air defenses launched surface-to-air missiles while confronting the attacks, asserting they “forced some combat formations to leave before completing their missions.” Meanwhile, Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Houthi’s Supreme Political Council, stressed that “retaliation for the Israeli aggression is inevitable.”
For its part, the Israeli Occupation Army announced that its fighter jets targeted “Houthi military sites” in Sana’a and al-Jawf, including training camps, the headquarters of the Military Media Directorate, and fuel depots.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the operation was part of what he called the “Ringing the Bells Operation,” indicating that the army “is preparing to deliver another painful blow to the Houthi organization.”
