The Yemeni Coast Guard on Thursday warned of severe sea turbulence over the next 72 hours due to intensified monsoon winds accompanied by heavy rainfall.
In a statement carried by the official Yemeni News Agency, the authority said the warning covers the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Red Sea. It urged all fishermen, coastal visitors, and marine transport operators to refrain from going out to sea during this period.
The statement confirmed that weather bulletins indicate strong winds and high waves, necessitating heightened preparedness and adherence to precautionary measures to safeguard lives and property.
