Houthis: Renewed US Airstrikes on Sana’a

Media outlets affiliated with the Houthis reported that US warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on locations in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, which is under the control of the Iranian-backed armed group, on Wednesday evening.

According to Houthi media, “American aircraft launched a series of raids on the capital, Sana’a, targeting Al-Hafa area in As-Sab’in district with 12 strikes,” without providing further details.

Information on casualties or material damage was not immediately available.

Since March 15th until Wednesday, hundreds of American airstrikes have been carried out on Yemen, resulting in the death of 124 civilians and the injury of 256 others, according to Houthi data that does not include casualties from the group’s forces, which deliberately avoids discussing or announcing them.
