Yemen and Saudi Arabia Discuss Final Arrangements for Hajj Season 1446 AH

On Thursday, Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Endowments and Guidance for the Hajj and Umrah Sector, Mukhtar Al-Rabbash, met with Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Abdul Fattah Mashat, to discuss the final arrangements for the 1446 AH Hajj season.

The meeting focused on completing contracts, improving services for Yemeni pilgrims, enhancing technical integration between the two sides, and addressing technical and administrative inquiries in line with Saudi Arabia’s development vision.

In a related development, the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments announced on Thursday, 12 Shawwal, the issuance of the first Hajj visa for the 1446 AH season, marking the beginning of the practical implementation of the season’s arrangements as part of ongoing coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Yemeni Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Mohammed bin Aida Shabiba, stated that the issuance of the first visa reflects the high level of preparedness and effective cooperation between the two countries, despite the challenges Yemen continues to face.

He added that the ministry is continuing to complete the remaining procedures according to the set timeline.

Meanwhile, the General Commissioner for the Electronic Track at the Ministry of Endowments, Moeen Othman, said in a press statement:

“The issuance of the first Hajj visa this year marks an important milestone in the organization of the season. It is the result of the continuous efforts by the General Administration of Systems and the Electronic Track, which worked around the clock to link pilgrim data and secure services through the Nusuk Massar platform, ensuring a smooth and safe start to the season.”

He added that the administration continues to monitor the procedures for Yemeni pilgrims under the supervision of sector deputy Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabbash, calling on accredited institutions to adhere to ministry guidelines to ensure the success of the season.
