“Nation’s Shield” Forces Launch Campaign to Ban Weapons in Al-Mahrah to Enhance Security and Stability

The “Nation’s Shield” forces in Al-Mahrah Governorate began implementing field campaigns to ban the carrying of weapons in public places, as part of their efforts aimed at enhancing security and maintaining community peace.

A government source stated that the campaign is among measures intended to curb the phenomenon of carrying weapons, which poses a security and social challenge, emphasizing the importance of citizen cooperation and support for the success of these steps.

The source added that through these measures, the authorities seek to limit negative behaviors that affect community security and stability, and to establish a state of order and tranquility in the governorate.

Al-Mahrah Governorate has recently witnessed security movements aimed at strengthening stability and raising the level of security across various districts.
