Yemeni Interior Ministry Issues Strict Security Directives to Enhance Tranquility and Order in Liberated Provinces

Early Thursday morning, the Yemeni Interior Ministry issued urgent security directives to all security units and agencies in the liberated provinces, aimed at enhancing security measures and maintaining public order and tranquility.
This comes in response to an operational directive from the Presidency, amid escalating security threats aimed at destabilizing stability.
These directives follow the terrorist incident that targeted the commander of the Second Giants Brigade, Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri, which reflects escalating attempts by the Houthis and other hostile groups to undermine security in a number of areas.
The Ministry emphasized the necessity of taking all necessary security measures to protect citizens and property, and to prevent gatherings or movements that contradict the exceptional measures imposed under the declared state of emergency.
It also stressed the prohibition of collective travel between provinces that could disrupt public tranquility and increase tension among citizens.
The Ministry highlighted the importance of raising the level of security vigilance and enhancing continuous monitoring and follow-up efforts, emphasizing that security agencies will deal firmly and in accordance with the law with any attempt that threatens civil peace and public security.
It affirmed its full commitment to performing its national duty in maintaining stability within the liberated provinces.
According to security media in Aden, these steps are part of ongoing efforts to address security challenges and protect national gains from any terrorist threats aimed at undermining security and stability.
