Yemen Monitor – Sana’a:
The Houthi armed group, through its spokesman Mohammed Abdul Salam, Understates their classification as a global terrorists by the American , considering that the decision will not “have effectiveness indeed” .This was shortly after the announcement of Washington regarding their classification as a “terrorist organization”.
“There is no real effectiveness of Washington’s decision of designating us as (a global terrorist organization), “Abdeslam said on his official account on X.
“The American classification will not dissuade us from supporting Palestine and the Palestinian people,”he added.
He also declared that: the US decision “will Increase our Assertion to our Attitudes of supporting the Palestinians”.
For his part, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Houthi government, Hussein al-Azzi, on his accout on X warned of taking any action that may harm the interests of his group, threatening by saying that :”it’s a declaration of war”, leading to more Prevention of the passage of Israeli ships.
