Airstrikes targeted Houthi positions on Saturday in the eastern Yemeni provinces of Marib and Al-Jawf, coinciding with intensive aircraft activity over several front lines, according to local sources and eyewitnesses.
The sources said the strikes hit Houthi positions on Jabal Jarrah in Al-Jubah District, south of Marib Province. They also targeted positions in the Al-Shahla sector in eastern Al-Jawf Province, as well as sites along the front lines east of the city of Al-Hazm.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing explosions in several areas, including the vicinity of Al-Jubah District and the Al-Fulaihah area. They also confirmed observing aircraft flying over Marib before the strikes were carried out and said the sounds of the airstrikes were heard from the direction of Majzar and Al-Safra checkpoint northwest of the province.
