The organizing committee for the Al-Balda Tourist Season Festival 2026 in Hadramawt intensified its preparations for the anticipated season during a meeting chaired by the Deputy Governor, Hassan Salem Al-Jilani, which was dedicated to reviewing the general plan for the accompanying events, activities, and implementation mechanisms.
The meeting saw discussions on the organizational and technical aspects of the festival, and the scheduled tourism, cultural, and entertainment programs. This was alongside reviewing proposals to develop the events in a way that enhances the season’s appeal and keeps pace with the expected influx of visitors.
Al-Jilani emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between government agencies and the private sector to ensure the season’s success, stressing the need to raise readiness levels across various organizational, service, and security aspects, thereby contributing to stimulating tourism and supporting economic activity in the governorate.
The committee also discussed opportunities to expand partnerships with businessmen and supporting entities from the private sector to contribute to the success of the events, and to enhance the economic and tourism impact of the season.
Discussions touched upon the arrangements related to welcoming visitors coming to Hadramawt from various regions, plans for improving tourist and awareness services, and preparing beach locations, parks, and recreational facilities in a manner that reflects the civilized image of the governorate and enhances its status as a prominent tourist destination.
