Joint Security Campaign in Taiz Arrests Suspect in Al-Mashhari Assassination

The joint security campaign in Taiz Governorate has arrested Bakr Sadiq Sarhan. He was apprehended after his home was raided and searched, and he is now being held at the military police headquarters for legal processing.
Sarhan is one of the suspects in the assassination of Iftihan Al-Mashhari, the head of the governorate’s Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, a crime that recently shocked the public.
On Monday, Taiz police announced they had already arrested four other suspects in the case, including the driver of the motorcycle used in the assassination.
Security authorities have confirmed that investigations are ongoing to uncover the full circumstances of the incident and to pursue the remaining individuals involved. They are calling on citizens to cooperate with the joint security campaign to ensure that justice is served and have stressed their continued efforts to enhance security and stability in the governorate.
