Houthis Bury Government Leaders Targeted in Israeli Airstrikes

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
Today, Sana’a’s Al-Sabaeen Square witnessed the funeral procession for several senior officials of the Houthi government who were killed in Israeli airstrikes last Thursday.
The funeral procession started from Al-Sabaeen Square with a large presence of the group’s political and military leaders.
Prayers for the deceased were held at the Al-Saleh Mosque, before the bodies were transported in a mass procession to a nearby cemetery for burial.
The acting Prime Minister, Muhammad Meftah, ascended the platform to give a eulogy, affirming that “the assassination will not deter the group’s will” and will instead be fuel for the ongoing confrontation with Israel.
