Today, Saturday, the areas of Al-Rabo’a and Abs in Hajjah Governorate witnessed massive flooding, sparking fears among residents over the consequences of these unprecedented torrents.
Field footage circulated by activists showed floodwaters submerging the road linking the two areas, despite some sections of the road being elevated nearly three meters above ground level.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the force of the water flow exceeded all expectations, reaching levels higher than the water pipelines connecting Abs and Al-Rabo’a.
In a concerning development, reports emerged of six residential houses collapsing east of the Sabtan Block Factory due to the intense pressure of rainfall and flooding.
