Al-Khanbashi Emphasizes the Need to Redouble Efforts and Improve Services in Coastal Hadramawt

On Thursday, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt, Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, called for redoubling efforts to improve services and enhance institutional performance, while presiding over the fifth regular meeting of the Executive Office in coastal Hadramawt for the year 2026.
The Media Office of Hadramawt Governorate stated that the meeting, which was held in the city of Al-Mukalla in the presence of the governorate’s deputies, a number of military and security leaders, directors of executive offices, and directors of districts, discussed the performance level of several service and executive sectors.
Al-Khanbashi emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between various executive and service bodies and working with a single-team spirit to elevate institutional performance and improve the quality of services provided to citizens, stressing the need to address the difficulties and challenges facing the workflow and to enhance performance efficiency.
He pointed out that the current stage requires more discipline, commitment to responsibilities, intensifying field work, and paying attention to the needs of citizens, in a way that contributes to improving basic services and achieving development in the various districts of the governorate.
The meeting discussed evaluation reports regarding the performance of the Ministry of Transport’s office, the Customs Authority, and the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation, in addition to a report on the general situation in Brom Mayfa District. The reports reviewed the most prominent achievements, challenges, and revenue collection levels, along with proposals and recommendations to address obstacles and increase performance efficiency.
The meeting emphasized the importance of following up on the implementation of these recommendations and strengthening coordination between the competent authorities, contributing to the development of executive performance and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
