Al-Khanbashi Stresses the Importance of Enhancing Military Readiness During Meeting with the Commander of the First Military Region in Hadramawt

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi stressed on Thursday the importance of strengthening coordination and readiness among military and security units to confront challenges and preserve the governorate’s security and stability.

He made the remarks during a meeting in Mukalla with Major General Fahd Salem Bamoumen, commander of the First Military Region, to review the latest military and security developments, the level of combat readiness, and the tasks assigned to military units, according to the official Yemeni news agency Saba.

According to the agency, the meeting discussed the main field developments, the progress of military and security operations, and the First Military Region’s efforts to enhance security and stability and coordinate with various military and security bodies in order to protect citizens and maintain public order.

Al-Khanbashi emphasized the need to strengthen integration among the various military and security units and to raise the level of preparedness to meet challenges in a manner that safeguards Hadramawt’s security and stability. He also praised the leadership and personnel of the First Military Region for carrying out their duties.

For his part, the commander of the First Military Region affirmed that his forces would continue to fulfill their national responsibilities, maintain security and stability, and work responsibly in coordination with the relevant authorities. He also expressed appreciation for the local leadership’s attention to the affairs of the military institution.
