هبطت ليل الاثنين، أول طائرة عسكرية فرنسية تنقل فرنسيين تم إجلاؤهم من أفغانستان، في العاصمة الإماراتية أبوظبي، بحسب ما أعلنته وزيرة القوات المسلحة الفرنسية، فلورانس بارلي.
وأكدت بارلي أن بلادها تعمل على تسيير مزيد من الرحلات إلى خارج أفغانستان.
واستؤنفت في ساعة مبكرة من صباح الثلاثاء الرحلات الجوية العسكرية لإجلاء الدبلوماسيين والمدنيين، وذلك بعد إخلاء مدرج مطار كابل من الآلاف الذين كانوا يسعون للفرار بعد سيطرة طالبان على العاصمة.
وسارعت دول عدة، بإجلاء رعاياها من أفغانستان، بعدما سيطرت طالبان على مناطق واسعة من البلاد، منها العاصمة كابل، في وقت متأخر من يوم الأحد.
واحتشد ألوف المدنيين الساعين للفرار من أفغانستان بمطار كابل الاثنين، مما دفع الجيش الأميركي إلى تعليق عمليات الإجلاء مؤقتا.
