Yemeni Army forces, on Friday, thwarted an attempted attack carried out by the Houthi group on its positions at the Old Airport front, west of the city of Taiz in central Yemen.
The Media Center of the Taiz Axis Command stated that the army repelled the attack and succeeded in completely foiling it, emphasizing the forces’ readiness to deal with any hostile movements across various fronts.
Taiz Governorate, which has been besieged by the Houthi group for over nine years, is witnessing repeated escalation by the group in attempts to seize control of army positions on various fronts.
