Saudi Arabia Renews Its Commitment to Supporting Yemeni Government and Easing Citizens’ Suffering

Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaea Mohsen Al-Zandani, met in Riyadh with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and General Supervisor of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and prospects for strengthening and developing them at all levels, in addition to the latest national developments, the progress of reform implementation, and achievements made by the Yemeni government in this regard.

Both sides also reviewed progress on projects currently being implemented in vital sectors, particularly electricity, transportation, water, health, and education, as well as efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the capacities of service institutions, contributing to easing the suffering of citizens.

Dr. Al-Zandani praised the qualitative interventions of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen and its vital role in implementing projects and supporting government efforts in priority sectors.

For his part, the Saudi ambassador renewed the Kingdom’s commitment to continuing its support for Yemen and standing by the Yemeni government and people. He noted that the Saudi program would continue implementing its projects according to well-studied plans aimed at achieving tangible and sustainable impact across various sectors, thereby enhancing Yemen’s stability and supporting its development path.
