The National Alliance of Yemeni Political Parties strongly condemned the Houthis for bombing citizens’ homes in the city of Rada’a in Al-Bayda governorate, resulting in casualties including women and children, saying that the incident revealing the reality of the group’s claim in supporting the Palestinians in Gaza.
The coalition, comprising the largest Yemeni parties, said in a statement on Tuesday that this crime is heinous, as some victims are still buried under the rubble.
The alliance considered, “This terrible crime is nothing but a continuation and extension of the Houthis’ familiar bloody approach and behavior over the past years, throughout Yemen without the slightest regard for the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan, embodying the true nature of the militia and its unfiltered filthy face.”
It pointed out that “this heinous crime is a clear example that exposes the reality of this terrorist militia, which continues to claim its keenness, sympathy, and support for the Palestinian people, while practicing the same behavior against Yemenis that the Zionist occupation practices against the Palestinians with the same brutality, arrogance, and aggression.”
In the statement they said, “The practices of the Houthis against Yemenis, and the Zionist occupation against Palestinians, seem to draw from the same source and learn from each other the art of torture, crime, and extermination.”
The alliance emphasized that “once again, the Houthis have proven through their witnessed crime, during the blessed month of Ramadan, against innocent citizens in their homes, that they are far from peace.”
The statement concluded, “With this behavior, the Houthis continue to disregard all efforts for calming and peace-making on various regional, international, and UN levels.”
The National Alliance of Parties and Political Forces expressed strong rejection of the international silence towards the crimes of the Houthi gang against the Yemeni people.
It urged the Presidential Council and the government to take action to complete the project of restoring the state to end the Houthi coup and rebellion by all available means, and the comprehensive national humanitarian struggle to alleviate the suffering, oppression, and persecution of the Yemeni people.
It expressed regret for “the international community’s deafness to the demands of Yemenis,” refusing to acknowledge the mistake of dealing with the Houthi militia as a political party, once again emphasizing the need to pay attention to the suffering of Yemenis due to the Houthis’ daily crimes.
The National Alliance praised the great popular uprising of the free tribal men in the areas of Rada’a and Al-Bayda, commending their stances against Houthi crimes while cautioning against any escalation or targeting of suppressing and silencing citizens, affirming that any foolish acts committed against protesters only multiply the backlash and accountability
